Solid monitor, does everything I want, but unfortunately if the content of the screen is less than 100fps (on the 100hz overclock setting) and G-SYNC is on, the screen gets scanlines.

So, for a £1000 monitor that's not great, but not terrible. For the time when I got this (mid-2016) this was the best ultra-wide on the market.

This is the first time I've had an ultra-wide curved monitor. It's great for gaming as well as office/work tasks. I was on dual 22" 1080p monitors before this and I like how I can manage a bunch of windows on this monitor better than on a dual monitor setup. I'll still probably get a smaller monitor to run on the side while I'm gaming but there's plenty of screen real estate.

I'm currently sitting about 2 feet, 3 inches from the monitor and it doesn't quite file my entire field of vision (which is a good thing, in my opinion.) I don't have to move my head to see the entire screen but it's immersive enough to make me feel in the game. Some people may complain that it is a bit too much real estate for gaming but I think it looks really good.

I haven't played with the settings too much but I did use the "overclock" feature to bump the refresh rate up to 120Hz which GSYNC was also able to match with the click of a couple buttons. I haven't noticed any tearing or weird artifacts so can't complain about that.

Amazing visual quality and goes beyond normal 60fps operation.

One of the best monitors ever made. Extreme high quality panel, high refresh rate of 100hz.

from completed build My first build!!!!!1!!11!!!

Fantastic monitor, very immersive, great colors. OSD is a pain to navigate but you don't use it often, also emits a high pitch coil whine noise when the screen is entirely white but only at 100hz (>90hz is gone), which isn't a problem for movies/games.

AWESOME. Super high resolution - from 8 inches away I can't see the pixels; high refresh rate AND G-Sync; decent included stand, IPS, and Ultrawide is amazing- feels almost like VR. 11/10 would reccomend

Fantastic for movies, games and productivity. G-Sync is a must have for me now. The new X34P should be even better.

I absolutely LOVE this monitor. I was using an ROG Swift PG279Q prior to moving to this and the colors are MUCH MORE vivid on this Acer than on the ASUS. I am really loving the ultrawide gaming as I usually play open world games.
