Fantastic card, overpriced of course--though it WILL run it. You name it, as long as you're not bottle-necking with other components, you'll run it maxed.
from completed build 2017 Build / Refresh
3 years later and still running strong and quiet.
from completed build Ncase M1 - Small and powerfull portable pc
Looks are great, perfomance is oke but damn I HATE coil wine!

The big daddy. ASUS's top tier version of the then top tier card. I found it as an open box deal at MicroCenter in the fall of 2017 and couldn't pass it up. I felt a little silly when I bought it, but I wound up with zero buyer's remorse when I saw the RTX 2000 series benchmarks. I essentially got an RTX 2080 two years in advance - for $100 less. I wound up removing the plastic shroud and stock fans and replacing them with two of the Noctua NF-A12x25s blowing directly on the stock heatsink. Looks kind of goofy, but the results speak for themselves.

Bought this in summer of 2017 for $770 and it was worth every penny, being one of those "once every blue moons" gem. This think was a tank and could handle anything you through at it.

This beast of a card handles anything I throw at it, while paired with a i9-9900k @ 5GHz it will run Forza Horizon 4 on Ultra on a 3440 x 1440 resolution and maintain 110-120FPS (Locked at 120Hz) consistently.

Great card. I did not get very lucky with the silicon lottery, but this card has been crushing everything I threw at it. RGB implementation on the card is also pretty good and not too flashy. One of the big bonuses of this card is that I hear 0 coil whine, and before I put in on water, the fans are relatively quiet.
from completed build InWin A1 - ROG
I love this card. Looks sleek and is very powerful. Will remain relevant for years to come.
