Still kicking after 9 years. That is real and not projected longevity AIOs claim. 4770k, 4790k, r7 1700, r5 3600, 5600x, 5800x3d, now 7800x3d. Liquid cooling can suck it and it is a waste of money for most people. I understand the aesthetic allure of AIOs but this will work for 99.99% of people needing a CPU cooler. There are more affordable options with nearly the same performance now but I am going to use this until it dies, which it may never. Put in a Antec Storm 30mm thick 140mm fan for color matching and used the stock fan in my ITX build cause that thing will not die either. Put on the Chromax covers a while ago as well.

Great cooler, bought it about a year ago when there weren't too many other options, but with the release of the new Thermalright Air Coolers, this cooler doesn't make a whole lot of sense unless you are running a hot chip and for some reason need an air cooler rather than an AIO.

This is a great purchase for me, my I5 10400 was getting to 100c each time I opened a game any game.

After installing d15s in game it runs around 50 - 65 degrees c.

Be careful when doing cables around this. The fins are a bit sharp. The fan-clips were not easy to take out.

    It is quiet and "cool".

Kept my 5900X below 80C while running AIDA64 for an hour and a half. Need I say more?

P.S. It's pretty bulky, which makes accessing the GPU latch to unslot it kinda difficult. Just keep that in mind

Great product, a little hard to handle but it is generally quite quiet even when spinning at high rpm.

Big. Depending on case may require you attach fin stack and attached fans after screwing motherboard into said case, otherwise 1 or 2 standoffs may get blocked if cooler is mounted together with MB while outside the case.

from completed build Cyrus III Reborn (Mini ITX)

Pretty much the best air cooler out there. I liked the more symmetrical design of the NH-D14 which made it much easier to fit in small form factors but managed to fit this in ITX build anyways with a little struggle of finding the right angle. Does managed to cool a minimal overclock on the i7 13700K @ 5.5GH with max synthetic load hitting max temp of around 92 degree celsius.

Originally was considering the non "S" variant but due to physical mem stick size limitations and not needing extra overhead for overclocking, this hit a real sweet spot. Fits wonderfully on this mobo and in this case. With the low noise adapter included accessory, it's nice and quiet too.
